Night Train Bobsled Design
That Night Train Bobsled design was by Geoff Bodine. Did the Night Train Bobsled design help it win Saturday’s gold medal?
You better believe it.
With the Night Train Bobsled Geoff Bodine design, the bobled broke a 62 year history. Night Train’s win is the first in 62 years. The last win was the 1948 St Moritz Games! Bodine said Saturday of his design: “Team Holcomb has the confidence to keep doing what they are doing”.
With the Bodine design, Steven Holcomb (who had who had corrective eye surgery last year), Justin Olsen, Steve Mesler and Curtis Tomasevicz won Saturday’s 2010 Olympic Gold gold for Men’s 4-team bobsled.
Steve Holcomb reportedly had eye surgery in 2009. He had suffered from degenerative disease that would have resulted in Steve going blind if not corrected.
“We’ve been working so hard the last four years and it’s finally paid off” .
